SChwarz racing enterprise
Schwarz Racing was founded in 2009 as a conduit for the production and testing of racing related materials and equipment. Our mission is to improve and advance the form, function and durability of various components, with a particular emphasis on improving safety within our preferred motor sport – drag racing. Located in San Diego, California, we compete throughout the Southwest, racing with both the Pacific Street Car Association and the West Coast Hotrod Association. We compete in the drag radial class of these two associations, with our stock suspension 1988 Mustang being the current record holder for both elapsed time and speed in the PSCA (7.63 seconds at 188 MPH).
What's New at Schwarz Racing?
Shortly after setting the record for the PSCA Wild Street class, Schwarz Racing suffered catastrophic engine failure in the middle of the 2010 season. A new engine combination was assembled just in time to compete in the sixth annual Street Car Supernationals, where we lost to our close friend - and eventual event runner-up - Frank Varela in one of the closest races of the weekend. We are almost halfway through the 2011 season now, and despite struggling with a string of unfortunate parts failures, we remain in the hunt for the 2011 PSCA Wild Street championship. This year we are also testing our new Voltage Worx Power Distribution System, which we hope to release in time for the 2012 racing season. Watch this page for more information on the system as the season draws to a close.
