SChwarz racing Team Members

David Schwarz - Owner and Driver

David earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology in 1993 from Dartmouth College and is the President and Chief Scientific Officer of Advanced Cellular Dynamics (advancedcelldynamics.com). David started racing with the PSCA in the Open Comp division during the 2004 season. Following that season, he stripped the car to bare metal and began reassembling his racing" laboratory", which he debuted in the now defunct True Street class at the start of the 2007 season. Further chassis and powerplant revisions were introduced prior to the 2008 season by Josh Deeds and his crew at Deeds Performance. After sorting through new car challenges in 2008, the team mounted a serious run for the championship in 2009 - ultimately losing the championship by less than one round of racing! The car is currently being prepared for the 2010 season - David hopes to be a serious contender for the Drag Radial titles in both the PSCA and WCHRA.

 

Josh Deeds - Builder and Tuner

Josh Deeds is the President of Deeds Performance, located in Chatsworth California. Josh has a reputation for building and tuning competetive vehicles; his clients have included notable racers such as Steven Short (2006 PSCA Wild Street Champion) and Manny Buginga (2005 NMRA Super Street Outlaw Champion).
